Committed to Setting the Captives Free, in the Fear of the Lord! (Luke 4:18, Is 49:8,9, Is 11:2)

We just do not understand our Heavenly Father. If we did, we would not have trouble receiving what he has already given to us.

We don't understand his Father heart, he is not trying to kill you, he is not trying to make you sick, to teach you something. He is wanting to bless you more than you will ever know.

If we can get a revelation of the righteousness of God, we can get hold of everything else.

We need to understand that God has given us his free gift of righteousness. If we don't receive His free gift, or try to 'earn our righteousness by works', then it's not his fault that we don't have it.

More and more it is through a lack of understanding regarding our declared righteousness in Christ (Rom 5:1 amp), that people are not getting a hold of what God wants them to have.

Romans 3:19 now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Righteousness, right standing with God, it is our standing with God, right with God, standing in complete fellowship with God in Christ through the Holy Spirit, having certain rights with God.

Able to stand before him with no sense of guilt, no sense of shame. Each day growing into son ship in Him.

Now the way you stand may be right with you, but not right with God.

We have an authority and a right, by the blood of Jesus, to stand before God and talk to him, just like you would to your own earthly father.

We have certain rights by the blood of Jesus, when we made Jesus the Lord of our life. These rights in Jesus, mean that you are 're-born', or 'born again' a son or daughter of your father.

I may not have the right to come to your dad and ask him for lunch money, but you have the right with your Heavenly Father, by the blood of Jesus, to come to him and ask him for the things that you need.

I have a right to talk to God and to share with him and not feel threatened or intimidated, because I have been given those rights through the blood of Jesus.

I did not do anything to earn those rights, It is a free gift from God, when I was 'born again'

Now is the age of asserting rights, it didn't used to be, but now everyone wants to be independent and not accountable and they try to assert it by  claiming more and more rights. Everybody says I have a right.

But everyone's own rights are different. The truth is, outside of the righteousness of God, what we think of as rights, is actually enslavement to a set of ideas, that we try to live by. This is because what we think of as our right is actually acquired ideas from somewhere, or someone else.

In God we have His free gift of right, Jesus Christ, who is totally right, or in right standing with God, or in righteousness with God the Father.

We can stand in the Fathers free gift of righteousness, by standing in Christ the righteousness of God, by faith, we lay hold of His righteousness. Then God declares us, the righteousness of God.

But now if we don't take a hold of the free gift of righteousness it is nobody's fault except our own

With God as my father, I have a right to walk in the things that He walks in, see the things He sees, to talk the way He talks and to say let there be, like He says let there be.

Why,  because I have inherited that right from my father.

People say, oh you can't do things like God does, they told Jesus the same thing and called it blasphemy.

The same creator that caused worlds to come into existence has given me the right to become not a sub creator, but a co-creator with God, he didn't call us sub heirs did he, no he called us joint heirs

Romans 8:17 and if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified together.

Here is the problem, because of tradition, we have become so conditioned to wanting to feel·God, in our emotions.

Until we do, we cannot believe that all his promises are for us. Instead we become so conscious of not being able to receive, that we lose the ability to discern when we are actually in sin.

Instead we begin to think with a sin consciousness that is a result  of not being able to receive, instead of operating out of a righteousness consciousness.

What has now happened is that this sin consciousness has cancelled out, erased or covered up my rights.

We become more concerned with doing the dont's instead of doing the do's. If you do the do's you won't do the dont's.

Many times people see a new Christian and begin to tell them don't do this don't do that, soon they end up confused and depressed,  saying my goodness I can't do anything.

Instead of which, if we were to say do this do this do this, then we would begin to communicate rights, the rights that are a free gift of being born again.

When I tell you what not to do I am also bringing to your attention the wrongness of that thing I am telling you not to do.

To begin to say I am blessed of God, people will even accuse you of being full of pride, but no you are full of your rights that Jesus gave you.

How many have heard this scripture, for we all have sinned, you don't even need to finish it do you.

You have heard it for so long, then we take it and say well I sinned, so did everybody else it's acceptable, we can't ever be expected not to sin, God understands that.

But in the righteousness of God, we can stand before him without sin, if we do sin, then we exercise our right to have forgiveness and be cleansed form all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9)

God understands sin and he knows what we ought to do about it. But now the danger is that because we accept that we all sin we end up with a sin consciousness, it's ok we all do it, God knows we all fall short.

Now I want to show you that the theme of that scripture is not even referring to sin, but somehow through the miracle of tradition it has been firmly established in our thinking as the verse which makes a way of escape for us to fall short.

The most dangerous thing we can do is take bits of truth and make it the whole truth. We can't live our lives taking bits of truth, if we do it will eventually lead to deception.

For example the Lord gives and the Lord takes way is that in the Bible, yes, but did God say that, no and is it true about God,  no, Job said that. But if we go around saying so immediately we are not inheriting the right that God has given you.

Job 1:21 and he said: "naked I came from my mother's womb,

And naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the lord."

Romans 3:20 therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in his sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Example in some Middle Eastern countries a law still exists that if you get caught stealing, they cut off your hand. When you steal you have the knowledge of the law in your head, so when you steal you see your hand cut off, it would restrain your flesh.

Now if sin were linked to the law, then when you sinned you would also see your hand cut off, so with the law  would come the knowledge of sin and it would restrain you from doing it.

So in that case I don't know it is sin until you tell me that doing it is wrong. So with the introduction of the law comes the knowledge of sin.

So before you got born again, do you remember doing some things that you honestly did not know were wrong. Then when you do get born again and become aware that the bible says it is wrong, it comes as a shock to find out that it is actually sin. I remember before I was born again I didn't even  know about sin.

Most of what was being done everyone called having a good time. So now getting born again introduces rules, which also comes with the introduction of the knowledge of sin..

Rom 3:21 but now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the law and the prophets,

But now, we live in the now, we don't live in the law anymore, the righteousness of God, not the righteousness of man, or your pastor, but the righteousness of God

Rom 3:22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;

Righteousness by faith, if we are to walk in the righteousness of Christ, we have to do it by faith.

Proverbs 13:12 hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

Psalms 17:15 as for me, I will see your face in righteousness;  I shall be satisfied when I awake in your likeness.

How do I get satisfied and walk in righteousness

Proverbs 11:30 the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.

Walk in the faith of Christ  (Jam 2:1 amp), the word in the heart and on the mouth and acted upon.

I have to have faith to be forgiven, because He said it even when I don't feel forgiven. It takes as much faith to receive forgiveness as it does anything else. If you don't use faith to receive forgiveness, you will walk around in condemnation and be destroyed because you failed to receive what you have a right to receive, forgiveness.

Everybody wants to be forgiven, unfortunately most want to feel· forgiven in the emotions.

But forgiveness has to be received by faith, because my body, my memory and my emotions, may still be hurting, but by faith I receive healing, not of anything I have done, but because what Jesus has already presented to me this right to be healed,

I now by faith  walk in that right. So righteousness is not in but by (the faith of) Jesus Christ

Now who is this for?. He says unto all them and upon all that believe.

So anybody who wants to walk in these rights, I don't care who you are, what you have done, all you have to do is believe and by faith receive and you too will have that right. No one is more qualified, it is to all who would dare to believe  and receive by faith.

So now what is the subject, talking about how righteousness is for everybody, that is the theme, so now he says there is no difference, for all have fallen, therefore all can be righteous.

The theme is not for we all have sinned and fallen short, but because we all have sinned, now all can all have the righteousness of God by faith to them who believe, it's wrong when you take it out of context.

It's the same as taking 1 cor 2:9 "eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love him."

You have to read the rest of it which says, but it has been revealed to you, so because of the Holy Ghost your eye has seen your ear has heard and your heart has received.

It's the same thing satan did with Jesus in the wilderness, but Jesus knew scripture and defeated him. But what is dangerous is taking all little bits of scripture and creating a doctrine out of it.

Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

So to receive this righteousness it's nothing we did it's because God loves us so much God wants to bless us above and beyond

Rom 3:25 whom God set forth as a propitiation (substitute) by his blood, through faith, to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,

Rom 3:26 to demonstrate at the present time his righteousness, that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Romans 5:17 for if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.

So here is a gift of righteousness, can you earn a gift? no

Jesus was right with God and had certain rights with God, in john 1 Jesus was with God on equal level, so now we have the same rights as a gift, that he had.

Now all we have to do is put on the righteousness, by entering into Christ through the Holy Spirit, walking by the word of God it is a gift.

2 Cor:17 therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

2 Cor 5:21 for he made him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

Now there is an exchange taking place He is made our sin in exchange that we might become his righteousness, so when we are weak, we take on his strength.

So Jesus took everything that the devil had yoked on you through the fall of Adam and Eve, he took everything from you, and then depended on God to raise him up on the third day and restore back unto him everything he gave to you.

Sin consciousness, when Adam had the glory of God on him he was God conscious, he had no consciousness of sin.

Heb10:1-2 for the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect.

Heb10:2 for then would they not have ceased to be offered,  for the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins.

Heb 9:13 for if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh,

Heb 9:14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

The blood of Christ had and has the power to purge your consciousness

We have been walking around for years not understanding that the blood of Jesus was good enough to cleanse us from sin once and for all.

Now, we walk in the word and confess any sins since being born again to God, who is more than able to forgive, so that we remain clean, abiding in the vine as a branch!

1 john 1:9 if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

So now it's time to line up with Hebrews 10:2 that the worshipper should have no more consciousness of sin.

It's time to stop saying that we are no good, that we are not worthy, that God has chosen us to be in poverty, that God is making you sick to teach you something.

He has made you to sit with him in heavenly places, you are the workmanship created in Christ Jesus the blood of Jesus has worked for you, it has purged your conscious mind, so if your mind is purged, don't receive sin consciousness.

You have been delivered, now you are back into God consciousness, now  when you begin to meditate in that word then you begin to think only those things that God thinks.

That's what he said think upon these things that are pure that are holy, that are right get them in your system because you no longer identify with this sin consciousness,

The blood of Jesus works, I don't care how you feel, you are free, his blood took care of the whole thing.

Now I see a right to walk in the things of God, not the things of man.

Col 1:12 giving thanks to the father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

Col 1:13 he has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the son of his love

Eph 2:5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

Eph 2:6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

We have received the rights of heaven right now. We have to learn how these rights work, how do we do it, how do we develop a righteousness consciousness

1 john 5:14 now this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

1 john 5:15 and if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him.

Start practicing, go before God and say father I thank you that by the blood of Jesus I have a right to be healed, I have confidence in what I am praying right now because I am praying according to your word.

I know you hear me, because I have a right for you to hear me, because by the blood of Jesus, I am the righteousness of God.

1 Peter 3:12 for the eyes of the lord are on the righteous,

And his ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the lord is against those who do evil."

God say my eyes and ears are open to you, but when you get out of your righteous stance, you get out of all those provisions that God has provided for you.

When you are in your righteous stance, which is free, it did not cost you anything, except all that you have, you begin to reap the blessings of God.

What we do is step out of our righteousness, to try to prove certain rights we have in this worlds system, instead of staying in our righteousness and letting God take care of us.

James 5:16 confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Why does the effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avail much, because by the blood of Jesus, when I have a God consciousness, instead of a sin consciousness, I have a right to have my prayers answered.

Go to God as the righteousness of God and declare your righteousness before him.

So somebody says, well God hears the prayers of a sinner, yes he does when he says I repent, he hears according to his  word and repentance is part if his word.

He heard me when I cried out in my bedroom in desperation, Jesus if you are real come into my life and change me.

But now for me to begin to walk in his abundant blessing I have to walk in righteousness by faith. Walking in the word, with revelation by the holy spirit, speaking the word and acting upon it in faith.

But then he is not under obligation to hear the prayer of a sinner, like he is with the prayer of a righteous man.

His grace will move him to hear the prayer of a sinner, but he is not obligated by covenant to do so, until that sinner is born again, bringing him into covenant.

But somebody says, but I know the lord heard my prayer when I was a sinner, mercy heard your prayer and grace heard your prayer

Now see how our thinking has to change before we can begin to receive and walk in covenant promises like healing.

Because if I don't know that I have a right to be healed, I am likely to make excuses like God is trying to teach me something through this.

1 Cor 15:34 awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.

Some don't have the knowledge of God and my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Not I but the Christ in me lives, by faith of the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me

2 Cor 7:2 open your hearts to us. We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have cheated no one.

Here is Paul a man who walked in unrighteousness, a murderer, if anybody had a right to walk around and say I don't deserve the blessings of God, it was Paul.

But look what he says, we have wronged no man, you could be forgiven for calling Paul a liar, when just a couple of pages over he was sending Christians to be persecuted and destroyed. He preached to the relatives of the ones he had killed!

Paul knew now that he had acted out of ignorance, thinking that he had been doing the will of God. But now we see that this is not the same man speaking, this is the righteousness of God speaking.

That is what we need to start to do, let the righteousness of God begin to speak.

But how many think I can't pray for you because of what I did last week, but remember you don't have the right, the righteousness of God, Christ Jesus has the right and standing in Him, God is faithful and just to forgive you of your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness,

You are now righteous again, the word of the lord is be free.

Put on the helmet of salvation and the breastplate of righteousness.

Put it on and digest it in your heart, meditate on the righteousness of God, the devil cannot do anything to hurt me, for I am the righteousness of God, I have been given power over all the ability of the devil.

I don't care what the doctor says, I am not dying I have a right to be healed, I am the righteousness of God it is my blood bought right.

If I have my breastplate on in the right place then when I declare, then creative power goes forth and those faith words coming out of my heart will bring it to pass and make it so and I am justified by the rights that have been given to me by the almighty God.

Romans 8:5 for those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the spirit, the things of the spirit.

Spiritual things go with spiritual things, get into the word of God, the spiritual word.

This is how you are going to become righteousness minded

Proverbs 4:20 my son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.

Don't concentrate on gossip, Jesus is on his way back, we need to concentrate on getting the word.

We have thought sickness instead of healing, we have thought weakness instead of strength, we have thought trouble instead of victory, we have thought poverty, instead of prosperity, we have thought sin instead of righteousness.

But the power of the word of God will deliver us from our flesh.

It's time to change our thinking. It has to become vital, to know your rights and then walk in them.

Heb 4:15 for we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Heb 4:16 let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Notice come with boldness. Not shouting, God I need help now, but come in there with liberty, confidence and boldness, because you know that by the blood you have a right to come in there.

Come to obtain and find undeserved tender loving kindness, wanting to run you over, with blessings.

When? in a time of need come.
